Cream of Wheat was originally created back in 1893 by mill workers looking for a new hot cereal for their families. They decided to try selling Cream of Wheat and it was a big success. The mill ran Cream of Wheat for generations and in 1962 they sold Cream of Wheat to Nabisco. Kraft foods bought Nabisco Company in 2000 and in 2007 Cream of Wheat was sold to B&G Foods.

Does the Cream of Wheat Diet Work or Not?
Most of the fiber is stripped away during the processing of Cream of Wheat, so you will need to add more fiber to your diet. There are those who claim that using this diet will work, but others claim that in the stripping process, it becomes a fast carbohydrate burner, so you burn off fat slower through the day. There is no real evidence this diet works, but there is no evidence it doesn’t either.
