Assault Charges Dismissed on Grounds of Involuntary Intoxication with Psychiatric Drugs

A twenty-five year old Virginia man, charged with assault against the police, was acquitted today on the grounds of involuntary intoxication with psychiatric drugs. This was the first successfully tried case of involuntary intoxication in the State of Virginia. The defense attorney was William Hassan of Fairfax, Virginia.
