Another symptom of bladder infection is a burning sensation while urinating. A person suffering from bladder infections will have the urge to urinate frequently. The person often feels a burning sensation while urinating. This is also often coupled with a foul smell emanating from the urine. However, the foul smell is not a common symptom. A person suffering from this situation will also have itching and irritation in the bladder. This itching and irritation causes mild pains while urinating.

Another major symptom of bladder infection is blood in the urine. People suffering from advanced stages of bladder infection have blood in their urine. This is one of the symptoms that appear if the disease has not been attended to for a long time. Itching while urinating and blood discharge in the urine often causes a great amount of discomfort to the patient.

People suffering from bladder infections normally have pains in the lower back. This symptom often starts to appear at the beginning stages of the infection and is often prominent during the advanced stages.

There are some other symptoms of a bladder infection. People suffering from this condition may feel nausea. They may suffer from chills and fever, and severs bouts of vomiting. Although these are not very prevalent, nevertheless, they are important symptoms of this condition.

There are many different symptoms of urinary tract infection. It is very important for people to recognize these symptoms and seek medical help immediately. After all, it is the easiest to treat an infection if it is recognized earlier. People should, hence, seek medical attention immediately if they suffer from the above symptoms.
